Pink Himalayan Salt and Your Body
Pink Himalayan Salt (also known as pink salt) is one of the earth's greatest treasures.It's one of those things that are around us but very few know about and/or know the benefits it can add to our lives.It's known as "white gold" in the Himalayas.It contains the same 84 natural minerals and elements found in the human body.This salt’s unique cellular structure allows it to store vibrational energy. Its minerals exist in a colloidal form, meaning that they are tiny enough for our cells to easily absorb.
The health benefits of using natural Himalayan Crystal Salt-
For the past week,I have been doing something called solé.It's a mix of pink Himalayan salt and filtered water and is one of the best ways to get the many nutritious benefits of this beauty.I haven't noticed major changes,as I just started,but I've noticed that my digestive and immune health are A1,better sleep,I feel hydrated throughout the day (so important as the seasons are changing),more energy,and I feel more relaxed in general.
How to use:
You can not only substitute Himalayan salt for salt in your food but you can also use solé solution to avoid the wait for the salt to dissolve (as it takes longer to dissolve than table salt).Don't use too much though as it's concentrated.Start with a teaspoon at a time depending on your recipe.
Other uses of Himalayan salt include baths,lamps,salt plates for cooking,and much more ! I will update you guys as I try them and also do monthly updates on sole'.
Solé recipe:
1.Fill a jar about 1/4 of the way with fine,rock,or crystal Himalayan Salt (rock or crystal is preferable).I got mine from Especias del Sol but you can get it from amazon or eBay or simply any grocery store or natural food market.
2.Add filtered water to fill the jar, leaving about an inch at the top.
3.Put on a plastic lid and shake the jar gently.It's important that the lid is plastic to avoid the salt reacting with the lid and erasing its benefits.
4.Leave overnight to let the salt dissolve.
Before eating or drinking anything in the morning,add 1-2 teaspoons of sole' to a 16 oz (one cup) of filtered,artesian,or spring water and drink.Try not to use tap water !
Sole' will not go bad sitting anywhere as long as the lid is tightly secured.Salt is a natural antibacterial and fungicide.I put mine in the refrigerator so I will see it every morning and never skip a day.
